Key technique points

Common mistakes

Sitting onto the heels

Do not lower the cable by shifting the pelvis instead of curling the torso.

Tugging the rope

Do not let lat and arm strength dominate the abdominal movement.

Compressing the head

Do not press the rope into the back of your neck and fold through the neck.

Swinging the diagonal

Do not turn the added rotation into a sudden lower-back twist.

Bouncing the plates

Do not finish the top position with a collision.

Tilting the torso as one unit

Do not perform only a hip hinge instead of spinal flexion.
