1. Deletion in the app
- Sign in to your account in the DynPerformance app.
- Open the Profile screen and select “Delete account”.
- Read the explanation of the data to be deleted; if requested, verify that the account belongs to you and confirm deletion.
If you cannot access this option, you can use the email route below. You do not need to reinstall the app to request account deletion.
2. Request deletion through the web
Send an email to [email protected] with the subject “DynPerformance — Account deletion request”. If possible, use the email address associated with your account; provide your username and state that you want your DynPerformance account and associated personal data deleted.
If you used Apple’s “Hide My Email” feature, provide the relay address shown in your account or your username. If you cannot access your registered email, mention this; you will be contacted about a secure alternative verification method. Do not attach your password, one-time code, a copy of your identity document or health photos to the email.
Start a deletion request by email3. What data are deleted?
- Account and profile information; Apple / Google identity links and sessions associated with the account.
- Health notes, body measurements, progress photos, training and nutrition tracking records, and personal plan data.
- Community posts and comments linked to your account, and notification tokens; mandatory retention exceptions are explained below.
Once deletion is complete, the account cannot be reopened. If you need your own records, you can request data access or, where applicable, portability from the support address before deletion. Control over copies or screenshots already taken by other users is limited.
4. Exceptions and processing time
Records necessary for a legal obligation, fraud / security investigation or ongoing legal dispute may be retained only for the relevant purpose and required period. The types of records that must be retained, the reason and the period or criteria for determining it will be explained in the response to your request. Residual data in backups are removed according to the backup lifecycle; they are not restored for ordinary use.
After receipt of the request and proportionate identity verification, you will be informed about the process. Requests under the KVKK are answered within 30 days at the latest, and requests under the GDPR are generally answered within one month; if an extension is required under the GDPR, the reason and duration will be communicated within the first month. The response period does not mean that all backups are physically deleted at the same time.
5. Subscriptions and linked accounts
Uninstalling the app or merely disconnecting Apple / Google does not delete your DynPerformance account. Account deletion may not automatically cancel your App Store or Google Play subscription, if any. To avoid charges for future periods, separately check your subscription in the subscription settings of the store where you purchased it. Support does not require subscription cancellation as a prerequisite for starting your deletion request.
This process does not delete your Apple or Google account itself. You can review the Privacy policy for details of privacy and retention criteria.
